The blue/purple one imo, more pleasant on the eyes and reflects the northwest weather better since we arent really known for sunshine and all. :-)

the warmer one serves the gold and black costume color better, imo. I'd want to keep blues out of those colors.

I AGREE I JUST DON'T KNOW IF IT'S VERY SEATTLE

The Left. It compliments the comic book style very well. It also helps the characters to stand out better, and more of an action packed comic book look. Where as the blue looks to draining and dull. It's very boring.

I like the first one, the one that's more orange. The streets of Seattle are orange at night, because of street-lights. Since you're a real hero, I think the comics taking a more realistic approach is a good idea.

OK I AGREE MY COMIC HAS TO BE MORE REALISTIC THEN MOST

This was my thought exactly when comparing the two. Seattle may be famous for blues and greys, but at night it is awash in either amber hues or stygian shadows. The first comic's color scheme also serves to accentuate your costume and draws me in in a more personable way that the blue hue.

I'd say the purplish one. It's got more of a contrast between the dark purple night of the present and the brighter colored daytime flashback.

Blue, depicts the time of day properly, because you only patrol nighttime so the first frame just feels off.

None. Too shiny/plastic-y.

Like the blue, have you played with a slight emerald hue?

I think the blue overall makes more sense even though a part of me says orange....

I like the warmer one ... it felt more like streetlights at night. The blue just doesn't match the costume as well.

The first one for sure, easier on the eyes, contrasts better, and I just like the darker color!

The orange doesn't represent the night or the NW. Being an artist myself, I would use blue with an orange backlight for the night scenes, as that is actually realistic. It also keeps the contrast on the uniform.

The one on the left with reds and yellows conveys a sense of negativity and tension, the one on the right with the blue conveys a sense of calm and pleasantness, I would use the left side to convey a negative sense and the right to convey calm and pleasant. Don't forget a comic portrays the dramatic and that requires a certain amplification of mood to get a point across and carry a mood with a story.

Maybe it's just the photographer in me, but I like the one on the left. It's just more organic. The blue scheme looks like you forgot to have JJ Abrams add unnecessary lens flare.
